Morristown Blitz…
Drums are done and we’re now working on bass… things are sounding sick… but we didn’t expect any less out of Rob :).. He’s a total class act.
We DID wind up going out last night.. but unfortunately forgot to update the blog :(. Sorry, we’ll be going out frequently and we’ll post the locales!
We wound up going out to Morristown with Rob and then later being joined by old friend and great dude Mike Glita of Love Automatic fame… it was almost like a mini Drive Thru records reunion (Rob= Hidden in Plain View, Mike = Senses Fail, Kyle= Allister). We first went to a bar called the famished frog, followed that up with The Office, and capped the night off at The Grasshopper pub where some pretty intense Karaoke went down! Chris melted the ladies hearts with some Unchained Melody, Brian did some Backstreet boys song or something, and Mike got the ladies to the dancefloor with The Killers… Brian so lovingly brought the crowds attention to the fact that the karaoke DJ looked like he was in Dragonforce (a metal band that shreds and you should check out if you never have). Good times were definitely had and Im pretty positive we’ll be going back to the Grasshopper some time soon.. I think we’re going to take a day off and attend the Morristown St Pattys day celebration.. so hit us up on our Myspace if you plan on doing the same!
Records sounding amazing and we’re all just focused in on the music right now and trying to tend to our hangovers from last night! We’ll be taking it easy tonight kicking back and watching the Cubs game….
